Media release 27.03.2025

The second wave of sales for sought-after tickets to the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest has ended. The tickets for the nine shows that went on sale in this wave were snapped up in the space of 22 minutes. The second wave of ticket sales again ran smoothly and the high demand shows the huge excitement around the world's favourite music event.

Fans who again went away empty-handed in the second wave of ticket sales still have a chance to get their hands on tickets though. Reto Peritz and Moritz Stadler, Co-Executive Producers of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest say: "Tickets for most shows will be listed for sale on the Ticketcorner platform fanSALE.ch if holders are unable to make it to the event. Ticketcorner's official resale platform offers fans the chance to purchase tickets securely and at the original prices."

Even without a Eurovision ticket, it's still worth travelling to Basel

During Eurovision week, from 10 to 17 May, Basel will be organising an extensive fringe programme and will become a hotspot for music fans from all over Europe. Numerous events will be happening throughout the city alongside the TV shows in the St. Jakobshalle.

The Eurovision Village is taking place indoors for the first time at the Messe Basel and can accommodate 12,000 visitors. As well as a sponsors zone and food and drink stands, there will be a big main stage featuring top acts, such as Conchita Wurst, Michael Schulte, SNAP! and Rednex.

The EuroClub will be the night-time party hotspot with performances by former Eurovision stars, such as Emmelie de Forest, Cesár Sampson and an array of DJs. Directly in front of the EuroClub, the EuroCafé will be the perfect place to get in the mood for the evening and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Eurovision Square on Barfüsserplatz will be transformed into an open-air festival, featuring different styles of music every day – from jazz to classical and from hip-hop to past Eurovision hits.
The varied programme will bring Eurovision 2025 to life for everyone in Basel – including for fans without tickets for one of the nine Eurovision shows.
