SRG becomes media partner of the "LernFilm Festival" to support young Swiss film-makers. At the "LernFilm Festival", awards are given to creative and inspiring didactic movies made by students.
Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF)

SRG becomes media partner of the FIFF. The FIFF aims to promote the understanding between cultures through films and takes place every year in March.
SRG wins sports production award
At the IOC’s Olympic Golden Rings Awards in Monaco, SRG wins the award for best sports production for its coverage of Sochi Winter Olympics of 2014.
More services for people with sensory disabilities
2014 saw a further increase in the services SRG provides for people with hearing and visual impairments. Across SRG’s television channels, approximately 49.1 per cent of all programming is now subtitled – an increase of 5.8 per cent compared to 2013. Subtitles are now provided online for Play SRF, Play RTS and Play RSI, as well as for conventional television broadcasts.
Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF)

The NIFFF is the only festival in Switzerland dedicated to fantastic genres. SRG becomes media partner of the festival and supports, among other things, "NIFFF extended".

A new TV studio for RTR
Bright, open, modern: three words to sum up RTR’s new TV studio. Its technical facilities are state of the art, and the architecture doesn’t disappoint either. Radio Televisiun Rumantscha’s website rtr.ch stands out thanks to a stunning new look.
HbbTV – the successor to Teletext
Swisscom switches on its HbbTV service – the multimedia successor to Teletext with a host of useful additional features. HbbTV is available on SRG’s HD programmes and elsewhere.
Yes to the new RTVA
The Swiss electorate narrowly approves a new Radio and Television Act (RTVA). From now on, radio and TV will be funded by the same licence fee, regardless of which device you use to tune in.
