Many foreigners are interested in what makes Switzerland tick. And around 775,000 people are registered at Swiss consulates and embassies abroad. With the SWI swissinfo.ch platform, SRG offers this diverse community an online platform containing information from Switzerland in ten languages.

Today the voters clearly rejected the «No Billag» initiative at the ballot box. The result is especially pleasing for the SRG SSR because it was confirmed in all linguistic regions of Switzerland. In the light of the heated debate that has taken place, today marks a new beginning for the SRG, and one that comes with clear expectations: Switzerland's public media company will have to adapt to a new financial framework and meet society's new needs.

Almost one million people in Switzerland have a sensory disability. With the aid of subtitling, audio description and sign language, SRG gives them access to information, entertainment, culture and sport.
