SRG SSR reaffirms its support for the Visions du Réel festival

The year 2020 will go down in history, and in the history of audiovisual production in particular. Forced to reinvent itself due to a lack of spectators, in just a few weeks, the Visions du Réel festival is back in a redesigned version from 15 to 25 April for audiences who love reality cinema. SRG SSR has reiterated its commitment to Visions du Réel and is giving its full support to this festival, which is an essential part of the international documentary film landscape.

Hackdays 2021: Changing media consumption

The sixth edition of the SRG Hackdays will take place entirely online on 25 and 26 March 2021. We are looking for developers, media producers, designers, media users, data scientists, UX-experts, educationalists and any other bright mind who wants to be part of shaping technological development of media consumption.

Radio stations plan to phase out FM broadcasting in 2022/2023

The radio industry has agreed to implement the migration from FM to digital broadcasting via DAB+ in 2022 and 2023. The SRG SSR will switch off its FM transmitters in August 2022 and the private radio stations by January 2023 at the latest.

A digital journey through the history of SRG

SRG, the "Swiss Broadcasting Corporation", was founded almost 90 years ago. Since then, it has undergone many transformations and mastered major challenges. All these events have been compiled and added to "The SRG SSR timeline" on the SRG website (srgssr.ch). They are illustrated with images from the central archives of the General Management, which are well worth seeing.
